Apple Juice and Condensation

Life’s bittersweet
Like tears and a smiling face
The hills to roll down faster, faster
So beautiful
In graceful passing
- shattering like any other tear
but in twice the time

“Look at him, be a man,”
they say,
“Burn the images into cores of your retinas.”
A thousand fireflies blinking
Dancing a ballet
Of bittersweet
Catching memories
One by one
And folding fingers
Smothering the droplet’s last life breath

My golden tears are dripping down a silver chain
Link by link, it twinkles,
As it washes all the pain away
Showering and shattering
Sparkling faces smile right
For the tears are the beaming rays of sunshine
Sleeking down the gilded cheeks of life

It’s bittersweet, the way they taste
Too often much like blood
And though bleeding life breeds far more pain
Than it does of over
The remedy’s in healing
And in tearing bittersweet
Your stripped dry in the name of “all above”

I wish my apple juice would condense at lunch today. It was almost totally frozen through...

Moving on, I loved this poem. Just a couple awkward spots.

A thousand fireflies blinking
Dancing a ballet
Of bittersweet
Catching memories
One by one

Bittersweet what? Memories? Song? (I once wrote a song called "Bittersweet Song) Apple juice? Sugar? Salt? LOL. But seriously, define what is bittersweet.

It’s bittersweet, the way they taste
Too often much like blood
And though bleeding life breeds far more pain
Than it does of over

Too often much like blood? I kind of lost you there. Either "too much" or "often much". And "Than it does of over" confuses me. Change it or omit it.

Other than that, lovely, just lovely, darling. :thumb:

I'm not so good with the advice... Can I interest you in a sarcastic comment?
